My name is Sheymae and I am a 2nd year HSPS student! And, my name is Imman and I am a 2nd year Engineer!
As your college reps, our role involves being the first contact for Muslims at the college - Freshers and current students alike.

Accommodation is top tier - nearly all freshers have ensuites
Formals are cheappp in comparison to other colleges

No ovens in the internal accommodation

Washing Facilities
Our washing facilities are completely free! There are washing machines and dryers. Washing operates through a specific rota where each staircase is allocated a day to do their washing. There are three main sites for the washing room based on what you are allocated: Chapel 10, Boats Archway and Deliveries Archway.
Muslim Provisions
Prayer Space
Ideas of the prayer room were put into action last year. It is going to be located in Library Court 1.
Halal Food
The chicken provided in caff is Halal, but not the rest of the meat. The menus for each day are always available online on JNet well in advance so you can check before you go!
Fridge/freezer Provision
The college is more than happy to provide a fridge/freezer in an accommodation’s gyp room specifically for halal food! Once you’ve emailed Student Rooms about it, someone from the Maintenance team will install one with a label to distinguish it from others.
Ensuite
Most first year students will be allocated ensuite accommodation. For future years, you can ask the college to note the need for an ensuite room for religious reasons and you’ll be able to select ahead of the ballot.
