Sisters’ Welfare Session

As part of our ‘Virtual Ramadan’ line of events, the ISoc is excited to have online welfare sessions for sisters. Led by our SAO, this will be a space for sisters to open up and voice their worries on any topic they would like and discuss these with your peers. Whether you want to bring up any concerns, give advice to your fellow Muslimas or just simply listen, we hope this will be a helpful session to ease you during these difficult and strange times.

We encourage as many sisters as possible to attend this highly beneficial opportunity and we at ISoc pray that everyone is staying safe!

Our SAO

Sehrish Mahmood

As-salāmu ʿalaykum!

My name is Sehrish, I’m a first year lawyer at Magdalene and I’m your Student Affairs Officer. Whether you’re a fresher in need of a helping hand, or someone in need of a chat, I’m your go to. Joining ISoc has taught me so much already and I can’t wait to, with our amazing shura, see what we can accomplish in the upcoming year!

Being a law student means a decent amount of my time is taken up by exploring the likes of the British constitution and all that good stuff, but when I get a free minute I love baking (yes, I’m that basic), board games (Monopoly all day everyday) and relaxing with family and friends.
