Qur’an Circles

“Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah, he will be credited with a good deed, and a good deed gets a ten-fold reward. I do not say that Alif-Lam-Mim is one letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mim is a letter.”

– Prophet Muhammad(SAW)

Ultimately, Ramadan is a time for everyone to increase their Iman. Our relationship with the Qur’an is a crucial aspect and we at ISoc are trying to facilitate those who wish to improve their recitation. We have separate Brothers’ and Sisters’ online Qur’an reading circles, where members will be able to improve their Tajweed with a proficient teacher. We have a class for different levels of Tajweed so however much you already know, you’ll be able to participate.

Event Details

  • A class to learn and then practise fundamental, core Tajweed rules.

  • A class to build on from those core Tajweed rules and learn more intermediate rules with the chance to practise these afterwards.

Each class will be lead by a leader and possibly some assistants who are all proficient in their Tajweed.

Group 1 will be every Sunday 1pm and Thursday 3pm whilst Group 2 will be every weekend at 3pm. All sessions will be 1 hour long
